Over the weekend we had such a "wah la" time at Tampin. It was a real local fruits feast. Let me see what was awaiting us: Durains...plenty and huge, mangosteens...fresh from the trees..oh so juicy, rambutans....red, yellow, green name it, langsat and of course the "long kang mee" eemm it was haven. And yes the delicious petai. Infact the whole stretch of Melaka-Tampin road was full of colourful rambutans on the trees, it almost look like spring.
Hopefully, the season will stay longer, then we can have another feast during the coming school holiday, anybody else feel like joining?. This invitation is open to all Yau's relatives.....any takers??

Ummm... Longkang mee. From the bus terminal or the Tampin Sawmill? I feel the bus terminal's suck. Tampin Sawmill's still the best. The noodles are firm in texture and do not expand or swell easily. And I especially like their chilli sauce and accompanying soup. The beancurd skin in the soup is so fresh in the tasty soup. The chilli sauce has just got that just right tangy and spicy flavour. Not to forget the awesome coffee they serve.
