Speachless Daddy

The other day my youngest daughter received some kind of scolding from my husband, we were in the car and dad continue to nag her. Then dad asked "Do you hear me Joy"? She didn't answer. Dad repeat "Do you hear me"? She replied "My ears are off". Dad asked "What do you mean"? She replied "I have switched off my ears, so I can't hear your voice" Dad ????????
After a while dad said "I am thinking of going to this restaurant, who wants to follow"?
Immediately my eldest daughter said, me and then a reply from Joy "I want to go also"
Dad said "I thought your ears were off, you can't hear me" Joy immediately replied "Oh! now I on them already" Dad ?????!!!!!!!!

My long forgotten hobby

When was the last time I finished a paperback? No clue... Here and there I read and skip pages of non fiction books, but fiction books were ages ago.

Last week I actually completed reading "Singing Bird" which we bought at a warehouse sales for RM10.00. My 7 year old daughter thought the title is interesting and has started to read it, thank God there's no love scene in it otherwise how do I explain to her, making love... and all those stuff.

Shopping and the 3 of us

Yesterday, hubby went fishing after church, so I took the girls for shopping spree, nobody to tell us it's already what time, what time.... or it's time to go home .....

So we shop and shop from 2pm till 10pm. And hubby brought back tiny little fishes for me to fry. This morning both can't wake up, from bed to sofa and to car seat.....

Aaah it has been a while since my last article. Just too much things to catch up. Just came back from a shopping trip in Bangkok, how do I describe it? WONDERFUL!!! Brought back a lot of goodies for the girls and hubby too. Missing them like crazy in Bangkok.

The other day my youngest daughter told me "Mummy I love Prince (her friend in sunday school), but not that funny, funny love you know...it's God's love. God said must love each other right?" She didn't end there "And my sister loves Ryan" ???? My wonderful babe.

Holiday and Real Holiday

The kids are definitely enjoying their school holiday now. Even though they still go to the daycare centre, it's better than having classes. Our real holiday will start next week, can you imagine 1 week off.....I am as happy as my 4 year old. Everyday she will remind me.... don't forget to pack my swimming costume, make sure the hotel has swimming pool mum, I don't want short holiday aah.

But today again, she refused to get up in the morning, we went shopping for their flower girls accessories until 11pm last night. Finally when she opened her eyes, she asked me "Mum is it still school holiday?" and when I replied yes, she leaped from the sofa "yeah no class". "Hurray, saturday is the wedding". Probably more excited than the bride. Our friends are getting married and the girls are the flower girls, first time for Kristen but quite season for Meescha.
This was Kristen's prayer in the car today "Lord, help us to do well as flower girls in the wedding"

Everything work for the best

She walks into the doctor's room for her immunisation and her doctor commented "look at her legs". She passed by her friends' mums in shool and they said "Your daughter is tall aah" She walks infront of my friends and they said "She should be a model" That's the remarks I always get about my 7 year old.

When she was 3, she wanted to be a model and she was very persistent about it. I guess that's because I love to watch all those modelling programmes on TV plus the hours of following me shopping. Then she started to attend sunday school and she loves it. When she was about 4 she told me she wants to be a sunday school teacher. "What about modelling" I asked her. "Oh, mum, I want to be a model who teaches in sunday school". Now she is in primary 1 and she told me she wants to be a doctor.

One morning my 4 year old said "Mum could you please give me your office number". "What is it for?". "Mum, when I am a big girl like you, I want to work in your office".... I guess that's because when she visits me in the office, all the 'adult friends' (her term of addressing my colleagues) got plenty to offer her, choc, candy, games.... So she loves following me to my office, she even nap in my room.

But visiting daddy is different, she got to wait infront this big glass door and wave at him... aah her dad works in a bank.

Daddy oh daddy

"Mum don't said that about dad" said my 4 year old". "God will not like that". Always protecting him, I thought. "But Kristen I didn't get angry out of nothing, I talk to him nicely and he never listen....look at this........". Am I talking bad about her dad or am I being real, somebody please help me.

Exam again

"Exam again, wasn't it last month you just finished one" I asked Meescha. "And why did your teacher inform us so late, you have only few days to revised" And she has been studying very hard every since, letting go all her favourite cartoons. That was last week. Today is her first exam, she has prepared well. "Don't forget to pray first" I told her as I dropped her off at the school canteen.

Back to the office now, thinking about her, I know God will not dissapoint her, she desire an 100%. My younger daughter is sleeping on the bench, just finish her reading. Almost time for home.

Meescha, Kristen and Monday

"I am tired mum, please let me continue sleeping" and she further her action by pulling up the blanket even though I have switched off the air conditioner. "It's already 8.30 Meescha, Kristen will be late for school, she will miss her reading subject". But she has already doze off again. Nevermind let her sleep for 5 more minutes I thought. Then I turned my attention to my right, "Kristen wake up, mum carry you ok". My 4 year old obediently stood up, put her hands on my shoulder and I carry her downstairs. I lay her on the sofa and change her into her school uniform, again she obediently follow my instructions in her sleep. She's all ready now, my husband had given her milk in her sleep before he left for work.

Back to the kitchen preparing food for their snack time in school, I saw shadow of Meescha passing by. "Hurry Meescha, I don't want to be late today", a sentence that I won't miss in my morning routine. Oh no, she's back on the sofa, giving me that sleepy look and showing me her tired trade mark. Although she is 7, she still suck her fore finger when she sleeps. "Meescha if you don't get ready now, I will take Kristen to school alone". Meescha is in the afternoon section but goes to same daycare where Kristen study.

Finally everybody is in the car. "Mum I want my hair to be clipped with this butterfly clip" said Kristen. "Ok", I said, "I am sure you will look gorgeous". Gorgeous is a new word that they learnt yesterday. "Meescha please pray for today" and without hesitating she open her mouth. "Thank you God for today.... " she started. Aaah what wonderful children I thought, God's blessing upon my life, I continue the thoughts. "Why nobody say Amen" suddenlly I heard her upset voice, oops sorry...

That's my wonderful Monday.

One of those days

Hurrayyy!!

Wonderful Friday is here. Even the girls were able to wake up without any fuss this morning. Plenty of things to do though....PTA meeting in school, my eldest girl exam is coming, their formula milk finished, marketing........ list go on and on.

Yesterday, my boss presented me with a handsome Rolex, aah the 5 figure watch is on my wrist now. Wonderful feeling.

It has been a great week, though I have to apologise to my eldest daughter for picking her late from school for the past few days, so many urgent analysis to submit.

...April coming soon.
